Description

A natural colorant. It is also used to darken hair turning it almost black. It can be used as a hair dye or rinse or added to shampoo bars to extend color coverage.  This indigo is used for hair coloring.  When used in soap making, it does not impart a blue but it does color soap a beautiful green.

Indigo works best when dissolved first in water overnight to bring out the blue.
