Description

Optiphen is a natural preservative that is paraben and formaldehyde free.  It is a clear liquid containing Phenoxyethanol incorporated in an emollient Caprylyl glycol giving it a smooth silky feeling in finished products.  Optiphen protects against microbial growth and has no ph restrictions.

Optiphen can be added before or after emulsification at temperatures below 140 degrees F.

Recommended usage rate:0.5-1.5%
