Custom made to fit the Original TS silicone mold. Place the mat in the bottom of your mold indented side up and when your soap is removed from the mold it has that texture on the top of your soap. Comes in a 3 piece set of : Sea shells, flowers, swirlies. Rachel Lalonde of Bonnybubbles made a YouTube video of her soap and was gracious enough to let us link it. Soap can be colored and poured or dusted with mica or glitter after unmolding. When using the flower mat we have found using a 7 ml pipette is easiest if you remove the portion for the flowers and bring to med trace and decorate the flowers. After this add your fragrance or essential oil to the remainder of your batter and finish blending. By this time the flowers have hardened enough not to be displaced by the additional soap batter. When using the swirl mat we have found that using mica mixed with oil is much more accurate to get the color where desired and the cavities do not need to be full just the bottom covered. We have found the 5ml pipettes work best for this. You can also leave it uncolored and use mica to dust it after unmolding. When using the Sea shell mat there are many ways to create different looks, from leaving it all white and dusting after the unmolding as well as an in the pot swirl, a drop of mica in oil at the top of the side of a shell since it will run down (be careful to only use a drop or you will end up with pooling in the bottom of that cavity), or individually adding your desired coloring into each shell.
